A private source told DeirEzzor24 network that a phenomenon that is alien to Deir Ezzor society has started to grow slowly in recent times.
The source pointed out that this phenomenon is represented by the spread of hashish and narcotic pills among women, and the recent increase in the number of female addicts.
The source added that the main reason and those involved in promoting these types of drugs and hashish are elements of the auxiliary militias, and local elements of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia. They smoke the substance in tobacco cigarettes, or in the heads of a hookah or in tea.
He confirmed that a number of these cases were documented, after they caused convulsions to the victims, to be revealed through the analyzes of private laboratories.
The rate of drug and hashish abuse, its trade and its promotion has increased dramatically in recent years, in accordance with the policy of the Assad regime and Iranian militia aimed at controlling their elements through those narcotics.
The Fatemiyoun Militia, the Hussein Brigades and Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas, in addition to the security forces of the Fourth Division, the Al-Quds Brigade Militia, and the newly joined forces of the 17th Division of the National Defense, come at the forefront of those militias that promote drug abuse, with the rate of abuse among their ranks exceeding 80%.
