The SDF and Assad regime impose fees on river barge users in Deir Ezzor

The SDF imposed an amount of 5,000 SYP on each person before boarding a river barge towards the Assad regime-held areas, a local reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network said today.
Our reporter said that SDF took this measure at the crossings of the towns of Hawaij Dhiyab, Al-Hasan, and Al-Jeneina in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor.
On the other hand, Assad’s forces are blackmailing the people with additional sums under the pretext of inspection and customs, while the passenger price on the river barge amounts to 15,000 SYP.
