This morning, the sounds of explosions were heard in the town of Ayyash, west of Deir Ezzor, resulting from the detonation of mines, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the engineering battalion of the 17th Division of Assad’s forces detonated mines that had been previously planted by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia in the vicinity of Ayyash warehouses as its first line of defense.
He added that the detonation of these mines came at the request of the leadership of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia in Deir Ezzor to secure a geographical environment for escape while warnings of external bombardment reached the militia centers and armaments depots.
These measures by the Revolutionary Guards militia came in the wake of the strikes that they were subjected to late last month in several areas of Deir Ezzor.
