The “Raqqa Doctors Abroad” charitable initiative delivered 30 medicine pumps to the intensive care unit at the National Hospital in Raqqa, as part of supporting hospitals with necessary medical equipment and improving the level of healthcare provided to patients.
Drug pumps are used to deliver medications and fluids with high precision, especially sensitive medicines for intensive care patients, such as blood pressure, heart, and insulin medications, which contributes to reducing medication errors and adjusting doses safely and accurately.
Dr. Firas Al-Sa’dou said that the initiative continues to provide medical support to the National Hospital, explaining that there is coordination with the hospital administration to organize visits for specialist doctors with the aim of conducting free examinations and surgeries.
Al-Sa’dou pointed out that these steps aim to relieve pressure on medical personnel and support patients in the city of Raqqa, in light of the ongoing need to strengthen the health sector with medical supplies and expertise.
