The Fifth Corps of the Russian forces has set up new fortifications the seven villages in the northeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to a reporter in eastern Deir Ezzor.
Our correspondent said that the Corps has equipped artillery positions and new tanks inside agricultural lands, half a kilometer away from the seam line, in the towns of Khasham and Al-Tabia.
These new fortifications of the Fifth Corps come in light of a state of alert for Assad’s forces and Iranian and Russian militias, after rumors about a possible attack by the International Coalition and SDF.
