DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
Cracks and fissures have appeared on the earthen bridge that connects the city of Deir Ezzor with its northern countryside, during the past few days, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that these cracks occurred due to the high water level of the Euphrates River and the blockage of the metal pipes with plankton after the recent heavy rains in the area.
He added that the Technical Services Directorate laid a new asphalt layer to treat these cracks, in addition to isolating the metal pipes by the Water Resources Directorate.
It is noteworthy that the dirt bridge was implemented by the Fourth Division more than a year ago, and it was implemented in primitive ways by spreading metal pipes that were filled with remnants and dust, and hanging a piece of the remains of the Halabiya and Zalabiya bridge on the northern side of it.
