The employees of the Directorate of Agriculture in areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor complained about the delay in receiving their salaries due to the bankruptcy of the directorate, according to a reporter of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that the Directorate informed the employees that they should wait to receive their salaries due to the lack of cash in the Directorate’s budget with the end of the year 2022.
The Assad government began to implement a policy of austerity in many of its ministries and directorates, due to the deterioration of the economic situation and the departure of the reins from the control of the Assad regime.
