The Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Deir Ezzor announced that immediate measures will be taken to verify compliance with the health conditions and instructions in force in the Al-Tebni bakery, following the circulation of video clips that showed the reality of work inside the oven.
The Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Deir Ezzor, Khalil Al-Saleh, said that the periodic inspection tours carried out by the directorate’s elements resulted in the seizure of a number of food violations, as legal seizures were organized against the violating investor and he was referred to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures in accordance with the applicable regulations.
Al-Saleh added that the directorate has decided to terminate the investment contract for Al-Tabni bakery, and is currently working on completing the administrative and legal procedures necessary to appoint a new investor, in a way that ensures compliance with health and technical standards, and the continuation of bread production and provision to citizens according to the approved terms and specifications.
