Rehabilitation and development of infrastructure at the Tal Abyad border crossing

Rehabilitation and infrastructure development work has begun at the Tal Abyad border crossing with the Republic of Turkey, as part of the efforts of the General Authority for Ports and Customs to raise the readiness of border crossings and improve the level of services provided there.

The work includes rehabilitating crossing facilities and developing the service infrastructure, which contributes to raising work efficiency, organizing transit movement, providing a suitable work environment for workers, and improving the services provided to travelers.

These works come within the Authority’s plan to modernize and develop border crossings and enhance their operational capabilities, in a way that keeps pace with the movement of passengers and goods and contributes to facilitating transit procedures.
