Prices of gold and food increased again in markets in Deir Ezzor following the recent decrease of the Syrian Lira exchange rate against the American dollar.
The price of oil reached 6,000 Syrian pounds (SYP) per liter, sugar 2,500 SYP per kilo, rice 2,700 SYP per kilo, and the price of gold exceeded 180,000 SYP per gram.
The Syrian Lira continues to decline against the American dollar, as the dollar exchange rate reached 3,600 SYP, which affected negatively on the prices of food and gold.
