One-and-a-half-year old child dies of malnutrition in trapped city of Deir Ezzor

One-and-a-half-year old Rafif Mahmoud from Deir Ezzor died of malnutrition and lack of medical attention today. She had taken her last breath before her mother, Baraa Abbdu Al-Malik Tukan, could reach a hospital in Damascus, where the child was supposed to receive treatment . She was later brought back to Deir Ezzor, where her family buried her today. This innocent child is just one of the many children and other civilians who had starved to death before in Deir Ezzor city, which is under siege imposed by both ISIS and Assad-regime. It should be noted that there are many other children in need of medical care and food in the city.
