ISIS perpetrates a massacre in al Harabish neighbourhood of the city of Deir Ezzor, while the Assad regime uses the victims for its own interests

The Assad regime, that claims to counter ISIS, keeps watching civilians falling one by one due to the ISIS’ shelling of the besieged neighbourhoods in the city of Deir Ezzor.

ISIS continues shelling the regime-held neighborhoods in the city of Deir Ezzor, mainly the neighborhoods of al Jawra and al Qusor that are still under siege. Today, it bombarded a secondary school in the neighborhood of al Harabish utilizing a number of mortar shells , resulting in the deaths of tens of students, who were in the school’s courtyard at the moment of the shelling, and injuries of dozens, many of whom suffer life-threatening injuries.
