These moves come in the context of news circulating about the center’s intention to rehabilitate the public park and the underground market early next year.

The Iranian militias are increasingly moving in Deir Ezzor province, aiming to deepen their presence and control in the region, consolidate Shiism and implement the Shiite expansion project, as they are carrying out development projects and rehabilitating infrastructure, with the aim of attracting the largest number of residents of the region.
