DeirEzzor24 Network learned from private sources that a large amount of yellow corn was supplied to an officer with the rank of major in the Republican Guard of Assad’s forces in Deir Ezzor.
According to the sources, the quantity supplied to the officer came from an area of 50 dunums of land in the town of Al-Muraiya, which was seized by the influential members of the Assad regime and pilgrims in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in Deir Ezzor.
They added that the amount of corn that was supplied is estimated at about 500 dunums of yellow corn.
The yellow corn crop for this season has been marketed to the adoption center in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, at a price of 2,000 pounds per kilogram.
