The city of Hasakah is witnessing a worsening crisis in the availability of gasoline, amid increasing complaints from citizens about the shortage of the material and the extension of queues of cars in front of gas stations for consecutive days in an attempt to obtain limited quantities.

A number of drivers explained that the gasoline crisis has directly affected their daily lives and work, as they are forced to spend long hours, and sometimes entire days, waiting without ensuring access to fuel, which disrupts their interests and increases their living burdens.

Drivers indicated that the currently available quantities do not meet the growing demand in the city, which has led to severe congestion in front of stations and discontent among citizens.

The residents and beneficiaries called on the concerned authorities to intervene urgently to secure gasoline and increase the quantities supplied to gas stations, in addition to adopting a fair and clear distribution mechanism that ensures that the material reaches those who deserve it, and reduces cases of congestion and monopoly, which contributes to alleviating the suffering of citizens and restoring the smooth flow of movement within the city.
