The Criminal Security Branch in Deir Ezzor arrested several people, last night, after a campaign of raids which targeted several places in the town of Hatla in the northeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the largest number of detainees were owners of pharmacies, accused of selling and promoting narcotics, and selling prohibited drugs used in drug abuse.
Drug dealers in the town of Hatla and the surrounding areas are members of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia and are known to the security branches, but they are under the protection of the militia.
