Deir Ezzor Governorate announced the continuation of maintenance and rehabilitation work in grain silos, as part of the plan to prepare for the 2026 wheat season, with the aim of ensuring high technical readiness and appropriate capacity for the crop.
The governorate explained in a statement that the engineering and technical teams continue to implement integrated works that include rehabilitating operational systems and improving the storage infrastructure, which contributes to raising performance efficiency and maintaining the quality of stored grains.
The governorate stressed that these measures will contribute to facilitating wheat deliveries by farmers, and ensuring smooth receipt during the season, which supports the production process and enhances the stability of the agricultural sector in the area.
The governorate stated that this move comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to strengthen agricultural infrastructure and improve services provided to farmers, in line with seasonal requirements and reducing any potential obstacles.
