The people of Deir Ezzor city called on the relevant authorities to tighten control and take firm measures to control violations and improve the service environment around the new market “Al-Kookh Market”.
Residents explained that the area opposite the market is witnessing a noticeable spread of dirt and waste, which negatively affects the general appearance and poses a threat to public health.
They also pointed out that some meat sellers and stall owners continue to work outside their designated locations, in clear violation of the regulatory instructions, amid weak compliance with the imposed procedures.
The residents explained that the patrols being conducted to control these violations have not achieved the desired results so far, as the service status remains the same without any tangible improvement, calling for intensifying efforts to ensure cleanliness and organize work inside and around the market.
