An Assad regime helicopter loaded with tons of chicken meat arrived on Sunday to besieged Deir Ezzor from Qamishli city in Al-Hasakah. After that, they were distributed to commercial shops located between the besieged neighborhoods of Al-Joura and Al-Qusour.

Not all families residing in besieged Deir Ezzor are able to buy the meat, as 1 kg is being sold for 1600 SYP. Furthermore, Assad’s forces, pro-Assad militias, the NDF and the Jaysh Ashayer militia have taken most of the quantity.

In the same context, a heated fight occurred near the Adnan Okab School in the city between an NDF fighter and another one from the Jaysh Al-Ashayer militia over some pieces of chickens.

Assad’s forces sold 1 kg of lamp and beef meat in the city for 4000 SYP last week, which was an affordable price for the trapped civilians. According to local sources, Assad’s forces will distribute tons of lamp and beef meat in the next week and other tons of eggs and chickens meat in the week that follows.
