Assad’s forces advance against Daesh in the eastern part of the city of Deir Ezzor

Assad’s forces and allied militias have advanced against Daesh positions in the city of Deir Ezzour following clashes that have been ongoing since mid-October.

A D24 correspondent said that ‘ The regime forces, and allied militias, managed to capture the Huwayjah Sakr and parts of the Industrial district following violent clashes with Daesh.’

Assad’s forces have made substantial gains against the organization this month, capturing the Damascus-Deir Ezzor highway after forcing the organization to retreat from the Shulah the Kabajib town.
