Deir Ezzor 24 exclusive:
The command police, the the militay police and the Quds Brigade conducted a joint patrol in Deir Ezzor after which they set a huge checkpoint between the air defence and miltiary security checkpoint on the main road in the Mariyah.
Fifteen people were arrested at the checkpoint, who are believed to be among those who are wanted for compulsory military service. The operatives of the checkpoint conduct thourough search of IDs, cars papers and confiscate motroycycles.
This development is within a campapign launched by Assad forces and alligned militias to arrest young men who have fled mandatory miltirary service. Several young men were arrested at checkpoints and entrances of the towns and cities in Deir Ezzor in connection with a smiliar campaign by the SDF in the east of the Eupharates by which the SDF seek to recruit young men to their ranks.
