Al-Salameh checkpoint, southwest of the city of Deir Ezzor, stopped an elderly man from the areas controlled by the SDF this morning, and transferred him to the Political Security branch in Deir Ezzor, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
He said that the man carries a settlement card that he had obtained after undergoing a settlement at the security branches.
The checkpoint as mentioned earlier consists of 4 security detachments affiliated with the military, political and air security and the Fourth Division. It searches and blackmails civilians’ identities and is considered the largest financier of the security branches of the detainees. It is also the security gate at the western entrance to the city of Deir Ezzor with its western countryside.
