Al-Madlaji Roundabout Square in Deir Ezzor has recently become a popular destination for residents and a new outlet during the evenings, due to its spaciousness and the proximity of parks and shops, according to a correspondent for DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our reporter reported that residents now visit it daily with their children in the evenings, spending hours there. They had been deprived of this opportunity for years, as most of them were displaced by the former regime.
Abdul Latif al-Khidr, the owner of a stall near Al-Madlaji Roundabout, confirmed that dozens of stalls offering drinks and ice cream have opened in Al-Madlaji Roundabout, as a result of the daily influx of families to sit in this area with their children.
Some playground owners have also placed children’s games near the roundabout, as families often take their children to Al-Madlaji Roundabout Square.
Barbecue and beverage stalls, as well as food stalls, have opened near the roundabout, as residents flock daily in the evenings in search of a refreshing escape.
Al-Ash’ari Park and Al-Madlaji Park are located near the roundabout, both popular destinations for students to study and socialize, and a favorite place for children to play and entertain.
