The governor of Deir Ezzor, “Fadel Najjar,” instructed the Directorate of Agriculture to form committees in every town and village of the areas controlled by the Assad regime in Deir Ezzor, a private source told a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
The source said that the committees will be affiliated with the Directorate of Agriculture, and their function is to monitor harvesting and marketing operations and provide the competent authorities with the necessary information and the names of negligent and evading marketing operations.
The tasks of these committees fall under the framework of transferring information and writing reports to the security branches.
