After a 14-year hiatus.. Resuming seed screening and sterilization work at the Foundation’s branch in Deir Ezzor

The Deir Ezzor branch of the General Organization for Seed Propagation resumed its production work after a 14-year hiatus due to the destruction of the sieves. The branch was supplied with new sieves by the organization’s general management.

The resumption of work comes within the framework of a plan to develop the institution’s branches and increase their production capacity, as the branch has once again begun seed screening and sterilization operations, in addition to resuming its activity in the fields of production and marketing, which contributes to implementing the institution’s production plan.

Production operations are conducted in accordance with approved quality standards and technical specifications, in preparation for distributing seeds to farmers, in parallel with working to secure the required varieties in the governorate, especially Research 9, Sham 7, Sham 4, and Sham 10, to meet the needs of the next agricultural season.
