Many young people in the city of Deir Ezzor have turned to investing in a children’s electric car rental project, operating in busy areas and public parks around the city.
According to DeirEzzor24’s correspondent, these young men have purchased electric cars designed for children and turned them into a source of income that helps them make a living. It is considered a small-scale business that supports them in improving their living conditions.
He added that the cost for a child to ride in one of these cars ranges between 4,000 to 5,000 Syrian pounds. These toy cars are mainly found near Al-Madlaji Roundabout, the central park, Al-Ashaari Park, and Al-Moalimeen Park in Deir ez-Zor.
Khaled Al-Mousa, one of the young men working on the project, said that the price of a single electric car ranges between $300 to $350. He mentioned that he owns three cars, which he operates near Al-Madlaji Roundabout.
He added that his daily income ranges between 150,000 to 200,000 Syrian pounds, and can sometimes reach up to 300,000 pounds, depending on demand.
He explained that the cars are operated via remote control to ensure children’s safety and to prevent them from heading into the main roads.
Small projects like this one have become a source of livelihood for many young people in Deir Ezzor, while also creating job opportunities and contributing to the local economy.
