DeirEzzor24 network correspondent said that Brigadier General “Jihad Al-Zaal”, commander of the Air Force Intelligence branch in Deir Ezzor, has set up a new detachment in the town of Salihiya, north of Deir Ezzor.
He added that the branch assigned the first assistant “Abu Salman” to manage the detachment, and it was established near the Military Security detachment and the Salihiya land crossing with the SDF.
The security branches are trying to control the land and river crossings in Deir Ezzor to collect material benefits from royalties, fees and smuggling operations.
