A senior commander of the National Defense Militia in Deir Ezzor province, Brigadier General Ihsan Mualla, paid a surprise visit to Deir Ezzor, coming from Damascus, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.
According to the reporter, he visited the commander of the National Defense Militia in Deir Ezzor, Firas Al-Jaham, and the western sector led by Imad Al-Muhanna, nicknamed The Mayor.
It also included an inspection of the militia’s vehicles and its concentration points in the western countryside, in addition to inventorying and inspecting the names of those affiliated with the militia after news of the sale of cards was received for those wanted for reserve service without settlement.
This visit comes days after the arrest of a Daesh member in Al-Bukamal and his confession in coordination with a commander of the National Defense militia in Deir Ezzor.
