“Reem Hussein al-Aftan”, 1 year old, from Deir Ezzor, died after receiving expired drugs at Al-Assad Hospital yesterday, Friday, May 15, 2020, Deir Ezzor 24 network correspondent said.

Our correspondent noted that the criminal security of Assad regime arrested the child’s father because he fought with the hospital staff following the death of his child.

He confirmed that the main cause of the child’s death was expired injections, that worsened her condition, and she did not receive the necessary treatment as the hospital administration refused to put her on a respirator.

It is indicated that this is the second case in two days, in which deaths have been recorded at Al-Assad Hospital due to the lack of medical care, and significant negligence from the administration and doctors at the hospital.
