Today, an armed clash took place at the Panorama checkpoint, which is located at the southern entrance to the city of Deir Ezzor, between the Fourth Division and the Military Security Detachment stationed at the checkpoint, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the reason for the clash was the difference between the Military Security and the Fourth Division over the division of royalties that they collect for civilians and freight cars entering and leaving the governorate.
It is noteworthy that the Military Police branch intervened to resolve the conflict between the two parties, and an emergency meeting was held between officers from both sides to discuss the problem.
