A clash took place, a short while ago, between police officers in the Al-Jura neighborhood section of Deir Ezzor city, and members of the National Defense Militia, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 network.
Our correspondent said that the problem started last night, against the background of the attack by members of the National Defense Militia in the city of Deir Ezzor on the police of al-Jura district, on the prison street in Deir Ezzor, due to the arrest and confiscation of a number of motorcycle owners, belonging to the so-called “Abu Arab”, by the al-Joura district police belonging to a group leader in the National Defense Militia, and there were mutual threats between the two parties.
Our correspondent added that this evening, a clash took place between the two parties in front of the jazz bakery in Al-Wadi Street in the Al-Jura neighborhood, which led to the intervention of the law enforcement Battalion to end the clashes.
It is worth noting that the National Defense Militia declared alert in the city of Deir Ezzor, and began mobilizing its groups, against the background of the incident.
