وزعت مديرية التربية التابعة لحكومة الأسد بالتعاون مع الصحة المدرسية، أقراص مواد الفيتامينات المقدمة من حكومة النظام لأطفال ديرالزور وذلك بعد تعهد أسماء الأسد زوجة
رئيس حكومة الأسد شخصياً بتقديمها لهم، فقد تم توزيع الفيتامينات على الأطفال دون سن الخامسة عشرة بمختلف المدارس في المناطق المحاصرة، إذ يعاني هؤلاء الأطفال ويلات الحصار منذ عام ونصف.
ويأتي ذلك، في وقت تكثف فيه طائرات الشحن الروسية من إلقاء شحنات يعتقد أنها غذائية على مناطق ديرالزور المحاصرة، حيث توزع نسبة ضئيلة منها وليختفي القسم الأكبر منها.
