The governor of Deir Ezzor, Faqil Najar, and the secretary of the party branch, Raid Ghadban, announced their despair because the people of DeirEzzor are not flocking to the reconciliation and settlement centers. They revealed a list of those wanted for military reseurve and mandatory military service, whose number did not surpass 280. On the other hand, the number of people from SDF-held areas who applied for reconciliation did not go beyond hundreds.
The head of the police, Brigadier Bilal Mahmoud, confirmed that some tribal leaders are taking 200 00 SYP from every reconciliation applicant, threatening them that they will be chased by the security forces.
