Today, Sunday, the people of Al-Baghuz town in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside found a number of unidentified bodies, most likely killed by Daesh before being defeated in the area.
According to D24 network correspondent, the people found more than a dozen bodies, including four children and eight men.
The people buried the bodies in the town’s cemeteries, amid new searches for other bodies that might be found in other parts of the town.
It is indicated that Daesh had executed dozens of people just before it was defeated in Al-Baghuz town east of Deir Ezzor, its last stronghold in the region.
Also the military operations and the air strikes on Al-Baghuz just before Daesh left it, have killed and wounded dozens of civilians, according to human rights organizations.
It is noteworthy that the people of the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside are calling on the local organizations to intensify the work and searches for the mass graves in the area.
