Eight civilians were killed; others wounded, due to air strikes on the town of Al-Sabha, eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, yesterday.
The air strikes targeted the Omar Ibno Khatab Mosque in the village, which led to the death of eight civilians and heavy damages to civilian homes near the mosque.
Our correspondent in the area reported that the first air raids caused material damages while the second caused civilian casualties.
The air strikes were intensified on the eastern countryside yesterday, targeting Al-Basirah Bridge and a field hospital in the village of Jadid Akidat, wounding a number of civilians and causing material damages to the targeted hospital and other residential buildings.
In other news, Assad forces intensively shelled Daesh-controlled neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor city, mainly Sheikh Yassin neighborhood, using heavy artillery.
