A patrol from the Protection Division and the Ayash Forestry Station recorded a forestry violation for cutting tamarisk shrubs in the Hawija al-Shamitiya area, as part of a campaign by the Authority aimed at ensuring compliance with laws related to forestry and forest protection.
The campaign also included the seizure of a vehicle loaded with mulberry wood near Hassan Al-Atra School, as it lacked a transport permit from the competent authorities. The vehicle was impounded and placed under the custody of the Forestry Department, with a violation recorded for unauthorized transport.
The Director of the State Property Authority branch in Deir Ezzor, Engineer *Mohammad Al-Omir*, expressed his appreciation to the Head of the Al-Shamitiya Police Department, *Mohammad Jassem Al-Issa*, and the police officers who supported the forestry enforcement team during the operation. Al-Omir emphasized the importance of cooperation among concerned authorities to ensure the suppression of violations and the proper documentation of offenses.
He also extended his thanks to the Director of Agriculture, Dr. *Ali Al-Alloush*, for providing the necessary transport means to move enforcement personnel to the site of the violation.
These initiatives come within the framework of the Authority’s efforts to protect natural resources and ensure the enforcement of environmental laws, contributing to the sustainability of forests and the preservation of the environment in Deir Ezzor. They also underscore the importance of cooperation among all concerned entities to reduce violations and safeguard natural wealth.
