DeirEzzor24 exclusive report
The administration of the military hospital in Deir Ezzor city opened the blood bank after it stopped working for several weeks, according to a reporter of the DeirEzzor24 network.
Doctor Ayman Musa, who is in charge of managing the blood bank, told the DeirEzzor24 network that the blood bank was under the charge of the Ministry of Defense. When the Assad regime fell, we were assigned as a city administration by the Ministry of Health to manage the bank and follow up on securing blood bags for citizens during the current period until a final decision is made to affiliate the blood bank to a civilian or military entity.
The blood bank was robbed and looted by the SDF after they entered the city following the withdrawal of Assad’s forces from it, so the Health Directorate in Deir Ezzor transferred what remained of the bank to the military hospital after its location was in the Al-Joura neighborhood near the Civil Status Department.
