D24 exclusive:
The night before last, Tuesday (June 11th), a handmade mine exploded killing two elements of Daesh, Ammar al-Dahrouj and Khleif al-Zuheir from Ash-Shahil town, while they were trying to plant it near a checkpoint of the SDF, 300 meters away from Al-Omar oil field.
According to the details obtained by D24, the two elements, who have pledged allegiance to Daesh since 2014, tried to reach as far as possible near the military checkpoint of the SDF to plant the mine, in order to detonate it later, but the mine suddenly exploded seconds after they started working to plant it, and they were killed immediately.
The SDF rushed to the explosion site to find out that the two elements were trying to plant a mine near the military checkpoint, but it exploded before they finished their mission, then the SDF moved their bodies to the side of the main road and they remained there until last morning (June 12), where a man driving a harvester saw them and transported them to Ash-Shahil town near Al-Omar oil field, where the people identified them.
