Yesterday, Hajj Jawad, the head of the manpower of the Revolutionary Guard militia (IRGC) in Deir Ezzor province made an inspection tour of his militia’s posts in Deir Ezzor.
Jawad takes the former building of the seed propagation directorate which is located opposite to the military airport as a headquarters, as the Iranian militias are expanding in Deir Ezzor, with the aim of strengthening their control over the region militarily through their forces, and socially through converting people to Iran’s brand of Shiism, and implementing service projects like hospitals and parks to gain the favor of people and strengthen their roots in the region.
