DeirEzzor24 exclusive report:
The city of Deir Ezzor witnessed an increase in the usual rationing hours, reaching 10 hours of interruption compared to 20 minutes of arrival at best, according to a local reporter of DeirEzzor24.
According to the reporter, there are areas in the city that have not received electricity for 24 hours. On the other hand, the rationing hours have increased in some rural areas to reach more than 15 hours, and in the remote countryside, the outage is almost continuous without interruption.
The Assad regime’s Ministry of Electricity claims that the reasons for rationing are due to the increase in loads on the electrical network in parallel with the drop in temperatures, which prompts residents to resort to electricity for heating, heating water, and operating high-consumption household appliances.
