Daesh attack SDF positions in the northern Deir Ezzor countryside

This afternoon, Daesh sleeper cells attacked an SDF checkpoint between the villages of Daman and Al-Sajar, north of Deir Ezzor. The cells were riding a motorcycle when they attacked the checkpoint, which led to the deah of two SDF fighters (Ibrahim Milishyan from Harijah and Ziyad Ghanam Bardaa from the Rabidah area).

The organization had recently launched what it called the Raid of Revenge, in response to the killing of its commanders by the USA in Idlib. In the context, it carried out several attacks in Al-Busira and Hawaij in Boumasa, and assassinated civilians on charges of dealing with SDF, while the countryside of Deir Ezzor was witnessing a relative calm, where activity was limited to collecting money and royalties.
