Yesterday, clashes erupted between the National Defense Forces and the Fourth Division at the checkpoint of the town of Hasrat in the Albukamal countryside, east of Deir Ezzor, according to the correspondent of DeirEzzor24 Network.
Our correspondent said that the clashes erupted because the Fourth Division stopped a car loaded with tobacco belonging to the National Defense Militia, so that the members accompanying the shipment intercepted and pulled out their weapons and clashed with the members of the Fourth Checkpoint.
The National Defense Militia is supported by the leadership of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard militia in Albukamal, and between it and the Fourth Division there are continuous disputes due to the incompatibility over smuggling operations.
