In cooperation with the World Food Programme… Rehabilitation and modernization of Tal Brak Bakery in Hasakah

The Syrian Bakeries Corporation, in cooperation with the World Food Program (WFP), has begun implementing rehabilitation and modernization work at Tal Barak Bakery in Hasakah Governorate, in a step aimed at developing the bakery’s technical infrastructure, raising its production capacity, and improving the quality of services provided to the people.

The project includes construction and rehabilitation works, installing two modern production lines, and providing the bakery with the necessary equipment and supplies for operation, including kneaders, water and diesel tanks, and an electric generator. It also includes equipping an administrative office and providing spare replacement parts, which will contribute to ensuring business continuity and enhancing operating efficiency.

The rehabilitation and equipment works are scheduled to be completed within a period not exceeding four months, with the possibility of completing the project before the end of the specified period, which will pave the way for the bakery to return to work with advanced technical and production capabilities, and contribute to enhancing its ability to meet the bread needs of the people of the region
