Qamishli International Airport enters the final stages of rehabilitation work

Rehabilitation work at Qamishli International Airport continues, with workshops and technical teams reaching advanced stages of work as the project enters its final stages, in preparation for completing the required equipment and upgrading the airport’s various facilities.

The work includes implementing the rehabilitation, maintenance and equipment stages, which will contribute to raising the airport’s readiness and improving the efficiency of its facilities and equipment, in preparation for its return to service and receiving flights and passengers after completing the work in accordance with the approved technical and organizational requirements.

The rehabilitation work comes within the efforts aimed at reactivating vital facilities and strengthening the air transport sector in Al-Hasakah Governorate, which contributes to facilitating the movement of citizens and linking the region to the rest of the governorates and airports when operations resume.

The remaining works and final equipment are expected to be completed during the coming period, and the competent authorities will announce the date of the airport’s return to service after the completion of the rehabilitation and equipment stages.
