Maintaining the main water line and enhancing cleaning work in the city of Albukamal

The Albukamal Water Unit has begun maintenance work on the main water line located next to Al-Maari Secondary School, as part of efforts aimed at improving the conditions of the water network and raising pumping efficiency in the city.

The work included addressing the defect in the line and carrying out the necessary maintenance work, which contributes to improving water access to the furthest points and reducing malfunctions that may affect water supply to neighborhoods and homes.

The technical teams affiliated with the Water Unit continue their field work to follow up on the status of the network, address faults, and conduct maintenance work according to the available capabilities, amid the residents’ hopes that these measures will contribute to improving the situation of water pumping and its stability during the coming period.

In a related context, Albukamal City Council continued to carry out daily cleaning work, by cleaning a number of neighborhoods, streets and communities, and transporting accumulated garbage and waste, with the aim of improving the service conditions and preserving the general appearance of the city.

The cleaning and relocation work included a number of sites, including the Silk Market Complex, the Old Political City, the complex located next to Omar Mosque, the Martyrs’ Park, the Public Street Complex, and the Al-Amin School Complex.

These works come within the framework of ongoing service efforts to improve water and sanitation conditions in the city of Albukamal, and to address service problems according to available capabilities.
