Civil Defense teams monitor the rise in the Euphrates level and enhance response readiness in Deir Ezzor

Syrian Civil Defense teams in the Emergency and Disaster Management Directorate in Deir Ezzor Governorate, in coordination with the relevant authorities within the Emergency Response Committee, continue their work to monitor the rise in the water level of the Euphrates River and enhance response and readiness measures in anticipation of any emergency.

The work included carrying out field tours to monitor the situation of the river and assess the water level, in addition to conducting maintenance work on the earthen bridge and taking a set of precautionary measures to reduce potential risks.

An advanced response point was also equipped, including divers and rescue personnel, with the aim of enhancing the speed of intervention and response in the event of any emergency.

The specialized teams continue to monitor the water level of the Euphrates River and assess the situation on the ground on an ongoing basis, while taking the necessary measures in accordance with developments and developments on the ground.
