Weapons and ammunition seized after a report of gunfire in the Albukamal countryside

Police patrols, supported by special forces, arrested two people in the village of Al-Heri, in the city of Albukamal, following a report of gunfire from a medium machine gun, which resulted in a child being injured in the head by a stray gunshot.

According to the information received, patrols raided a house in the area and arrested the invitees (A. M) and his brother (J. M), before the inspection process resulted in the seizure of a quantity of weapons and ammunition stored inside the house.

The seizures included seven machine guns «BKC», nine military rifles, sniper gun «Dragonov», two military pistols, and a hunting rifle, in addition to seven strips of ammunition and about two thousand bullets of ammunition.

All seized items were confiscated and legal proceedings were organized against the detainees, while investigations continue in preparation for referring them to the competent judiciary to take legal action against them.
