Rehabilitation work on Al-Mayadeen Bridge in Deir Ezzor begins under the direction of President Ahmed Al-Sharaa

The rehabilitation works of the Al-Mayadeen City Bridge in Deir Ezzor Governorate were launched, under the direction of President Ahmed Al-Sharaa, under the supervision of Deir Ezzor Governorate and implemented by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing, as part of efforts aimed at rehabilitating the infrastructure and restoring vital facilities in the governorate.

The works include completely removing the old bridge and implementing the foundations according to approved engineering standards, in preparation for the construction of a new bridge linking the two banks of the Euphrates River, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

The project aims to facilitate the movement of citizens and goods between the two sides of the river, support economic and service activities, enhance reconstruction efforts and improve the infrastructure in the area, which will contribute to stimulating commercial activity and facilitating access to services for the population.
