The Directorate of Education in Al-Hasakah, represented by the School Health Department, opened a local training course entitled “Health Awareness on Oral Health in Schools”, as part of the Ministry of Education’s plan for 2026, with the aim of enhancing health awareness among educational staff and spreading sound health practices among school students.
The course lasts four days, with the participation of 30 male and female teachers from the first cycle of basic education, and includes lectures and training sessions on the fundamentals of oral and dental health care, ways to prevent oral diseases, and mechanisms for establishing positive health behaviors among children within the school environment.
The course organizers stressed that this initiative comes within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Education and the Directorate of Education in Hasakah to develop the capabilities of educational cadres and enhance their awareness role alongside their educational message, which will reflect positively on students’ health and contribute to improving the school environment.
