Yesterday, Sunday, the Deir Ezzor Governorate Workers Union opened a specialized training workshop to develop union capabilities, with the participation of leaders from the workers’ unions of Deir Ezzor, Hasakah and Raqqa governorates, as part of the plan of the Culture Secretariat in the General Federation of Workers’ Unions in Syria.
The workshop will last for two days and will include specialized lectures on union organization law, union work methods, mechanisms for resolving labor disputes, and legislation regulating union work, in addition to financial aspects and the Assistance and Solidarity Fund.
The workshop aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of union leaders, and develop their capabilities in performing their tasks, in line with the requirements of the stage, and contribute to strengthening the role of the union organization in defending workers’ rights, raising the level of union work and organizing its affairs.
